In 1943, the Bf 109 entered service, while its performance was less then stellar, its worth derived from the ability to be easily modified into dedicated fighter bomber, high altitude interceptor or reconnaissance. Likewise great care was taken to make sure the G6 could fit heavy armament for attacking bombers, which were beginning to appear in force over Germany, and the shortcoming of the Fw 190’s at high altitude became increasingly apparent. Kurt Tank, the designer of the venerable Fw-190 lineup quickly realized by 1943 that the field of aerial warfare was changing rapidly. The world had moved on beyond dive bombers, and the allies had begun forming massive, four engine bomber wings that devastated. Axis ground troops and factories. At the time, Fw-190’s played similar rolls to the American P-47 Thunderbolts, serving as ground attack planes and low altitude interceptors. Detailed Plastic Kit of model

Giuseppe Gabrielli, fighter designer such as G.55 and G.91 and was born for a specific need of the Italian Air Force: to have a tactical transport aircraft, smaller than the four-engine Lockheed C-130 Hercules, able to take off and landing from short and unprepared runways. The two turboprop engines can make the G-222 reach 480 km/h and the aircraft is characterized by excellent maneuverability even when fully loaded. Since 2005 it has been progressively replaced by its evolution, the C-27J Spartan. The Alenia C-27J Spartan is the new extensively updated and improved version of the G 222 tactical transport aircraft. The Spartan is equipped with two new and powerful Rolls-Royce AE2100-D2 turboprop engines capable of bringing the aircraft up to speed. of over 600 km/h. It entered service in the late 1950s with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps fighter squadrons to replace the obsolete Vought F7U Cutlass. The F-8E had good operational longevity and was deployed routinely by the US until the Vietnam War. It was characterized by the adoption of two engines, like many other aircraft with similar features of the time, but also by the introduction of innovative solutions such as the all-metal frames. Thanks to its two Jumo 211 engines, it was able to reach the maximum speed of 440 km / h and it could load up to 2,000 kg of bombs in the internal loading bay. Easy to identify due to the distinctive fully glazed nose, the wing and rudders profiles, the He-111 was widely used by Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain in 1940. During the years it was constantly improved and upgraded but became obsolete during the latter part of the war. Detailed plastic kit in scale 1:72

Officially set up to be a civilian airplane to perform commercial duties, the Junkers Ju 86 was a monoplane twin-engine aircraft that, in the bomber version, equipped the squadrons of the nascent Luftwaffe. The Junkers Ju-86 was used, similarly to the Heinkel He 111 and the Dornier Do-17, as a medium-range bomber during the Spanish Civil War in 1936 under the Condor Legion insignia. Thanks to its two Junkers Jumo 205 engines, the Ju-86 was able to reach the maximum speed of 300 km / h and to carry up to 1,000 kg of offensive load. The Junkers Ju-86 participated to the early stages of the Poland Campaign but it was soon replaced by more modern and effective aircrafts. In addition to the Luftwaffe, it was used by Swedish and Hungarian air forces. Detailed Plastic Kit of model JU-86 E-1/E-2 in scale 1:72

Stylishly designed from an aerodynamical perspective, it was fitted with the powerful German DB 601 engine produced under license by the Italian aeronautical industry. The engine and overall aeronautical performance of the aircraft provided the Regia Aeronautica with a fighter capable of actively engaging Allied fighters. The flight performance compared to the previous generation of fighters equipped with radial engines, such as the Fiat G-50 and the Macchi Mc-200, was in fact much better. Manoeuvrable and fast (it was able to reach 600 km h), it was armed, in the early versions, with two 12.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns installed in the nose. The model F-104 G Recce in 1/72 scale has a length of about 231 mm. Decals for 3 versions. The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is one of the most famous fighters in the history of aviation and also one with the longest operational life: its history began at the end of the 50s and ended, for some air forces, in mid 2000s. Its unique airframe, with slender fuselage and very little wing surface, made this aircraft ideal as an interceptor. Thanks to the thrust of its General Electric J79-GE-11A afterburning turbojet engine, it could exceed Mach 2,2 with an excellent rate of climb. But it wasn't very maneuverable and difficult to pilot. The F-104G Starfighter was produced on license by several European aviation industries. From the mid 60s, it became the standard interceptor for many NATO countries including Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece, and Turkey. The armament was basically the same found on previous versions, with a 20mm Vulcan cannon and the option to fit under the wings air-to-air missiles, bombs, or additional fuel tanks to increase the airplane's range. With time, reconnaissance duties were added to the traditional interceptor service. The F-104G was therefore fitted with a dedicated "Orpheus" reconnaissance external pod that gave excellent operational results.
